In Plastic Free July we launched the world’s most sustainable and innovative Mermaid Collection featuring a carry bag with a terry towel cloth side so our community can clean and dry their utensils after each healthy meal while out adventuring in nature. This world first Coconut Bowls in partnership with Kathryn Nelson the Plastic Free Mermaid bundle also came with a hand painted shell design to remind our Coco Community of the beauty of the sea and how important it is to protect it.
Lonely Whale works with partners to develop data-driven campaigns that address systems issues and reconnect us to each other, encouraging behaviour change away from single-use plastic and toward a healthy, thriving ocean. If you’re new to the Coco Community then you will learn how much that resonates with us. As part of our ongoing commitment to 1% for the Planet we continue to fund reforestation projects with HalfCut. This amazing organisation is celebrating HalfCut day on the 31st of August so there will be opportunities for you to make a purchase to be proud of and help solve the problem of climate change.
At Coconut Bowls we’re proud to be nourishing the efforts of Sea Shepherd Ocean Conservation Society through our 1% for the Planet donations. Sea Shepherd is the only ocean conservation organisation using direct action and a fleet of ships to protect, conserve and defend marine wildlife while also fighting the tide of marine plastic pollution in our beloved ocean.
Through July, and since 2015 we have lived our commitment to CoolEffect’s global projects continues to see the offset of all carbon emitted from shipping Coconut Bowls. Every purchase ever made has been carbon offset and we couldn’t be prouder to continue supporting CoolEffect’s global projects.
